On a sunny Tuesday morning in East Wall I spotted the red Google Street View car travelling up Saint Mary’s road. I feel less of a man now for identifying the car as “red”, so I think it was a Renault Twingo or similiar but don’t quote me on that. It had the usual 360 degree camera on its roof and so far no reports of locals with pitchforks :)
At the Google I/O conference yesterday, Google gave a developer preview of their new communication and collaboration system developed by the guys behind Google Maps. After watching the video below I’m bored of email already and want to make the switch. Hurry up guys and finish it!
On Friday we moved into our new office on Mount street. Nice diggs with great potential, hopefully those white walls will inspire some creative expression.
Welcome to the blog and portfolio site of Pat Ashe. When I eventually find the time I will put some of my work up here and publish some blog posts on user interface design, development and anything that takes my fancy. In the mean time check out Wolfram Alpha from the creators of Mathematica, just launched last night its promising to revolutionise online search! Google is shaking in its boots over this.
